I am taking English 102 to improve my writing skills. I want to become a good enough writer to the point where I can easily be identified as a college student just by reading my essays and looking at my work. I consider myself an average writer but I want to jump to the next level that will turn me into a good writer and one day a great one.Yes, it is a required class but I have no problem taking it as I will only build on my skills and become much more fluent in my English. I hope to learn much from this class and improve my all around writing skills.

I would definitely agree that a bachelors degree is worth it, not just because it will look good on a resume and help land a high paying job but the self satisfaction that comes with it and I believe it is something that can never be taken away. To me a bachelors degree means that you have succeeded and can now take an even bigger step towards success. It means that you have accomplished what you set yourself to do and all your hard work has paid off. Sure the questions of debt are there but you must ask yourself "how badly do you want it?" and what are you willing to do to reach your goals. Those who decide to go to a big time school immediately after high school will find themselves in debt mainly because those schools are a lot more expensive then small time universities. I do plan on earning a bachelors degree but not for the money, not for the way it would look on my resume, but for the self satisfaction and knowing that I have finally reached my goals I have set for myself. I can only imagine the great feeling that will come over me once I do reach my goal.
