"Warrior"

In this film we have two brothers who were torn apart by their father's selfish behavior. One of them decides to leave with the mother while the older brother being played by Joel Edgerton makes the decision to stay with the father and his girlfriend who eventually becomes his wife. The older brother who, in this film goes by the name of Brendon has trouble paying the bills for his house and is in such a hole that he returns to the ring as an MMA (mixed-martial arts) fighter. This decision gets him suspended from his job as a school teacher without pay. With the house in jeopardy he decides to enter a tournament with the grand prize being 5 million dollars. The younger brother who goes by the name of Tommy and is being played by Tom Hardy joins the marines at a young age and when his best friend gets killed in a friendly fire incident he decides to go AWOL (absence without leave). He decides to stay with his father once he returns home. Tommy promises his fallen brothers family that he will do whatever it takes to help them out and being a former MMA icon he finds a way to enter the exact same tournament as his older brother whom he hasn't seen in years.

To many audiences this is just another fighting movie, but once you watch this film you will agree that it is much more than that as there are many twists and turns to go along with an amazing plot. The movie focuses on the torn relationship between the two brothers and the father who desperately seeks their forgiveness after many years of alcoholism and abuse.
